In 2020 AT40 reached its 50th anniversary. With it, they decided to do a show rebrand along with a complimentary ‘40 turns 50” campaign. The logo is a bold modern take on decorative typography of previous eras with a reference to gold vinyl records. The concentric circles are used as a device throughout the respective campaigns creating an elegant yet approachable brand kit.

I wanted to play on Bucks’ personal history and public persona with heroic photography along with abstract and cryptic background assets. I also wanted to include a playful copy to provide levity to the otherwise brutal gritty aesthetic.

Outloud is a news/talk show with a confrontational young host, Gianno Caldwell. The goal was to create a bold and aggressive visual identity in juxtaposition to traditional conservative talk shows. To do this, I made a subtle reference to punk rock and street art visual cues to denote free thought and independence of Gianno.
